Precautionary Statements

Prevention Keep away from heat/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting/equipment. Use non-sparking tools. Take action to prevent static discharges. Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Wash thoroughly after handling. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/eye protection/face protection. Response IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water or shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Do NOT induce vomiting. In case of fire: Use appropriate media to extinguish. Storage Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Keep container tightly closed. Store locked up. Disposal Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local/regional/national/international regulations. Other hazards Frequent or prolonged contact may defat and dry the skin, leading to discomfort and dermatitis.
